What separates it from a plain bag
- Holds its shape: the walls don't collapse onto your pet as you walk.
- Ventilation on three sides — the critical point: an animal sealed in without airflow overheats fast.

Getting them used to it
Leave the carrier open at home for several days with a treat inside. Then do one block before attempting a real trip. A cat forced in on day one will refuse it for good.
